SYLLABUS
Syllabuses are available from the Mailing List Co-ordinator from early September on receipt of a cheque made payable to Portsmouth Music Festival for £4.00 to cover the cost of the syllabus, administration and postage & packing. Accompanists
Entrants are advised that the Festival does not engage "official" accompanists.It is the responsibility of performers who require an accompanist to find their own in good time before the Festival starts.
The accompanists named below have agreed to their names being published in this syllabus.
You must agree a fee with your accompanist for your Festival performance and any rehearsals you arrange.
You are advised to inform your accompanist if you are unable to attend your Festival class, or you may still be charged with the agreed fee.

We would remind all our young performers that, as your Portsmouth Music Festival certificate can be included in your Record of Achievement file, your performance here is an important part of your musical education. So, just a word of encouragement for you - it will greatly enhance your performance if you walk tall on to the stage, look as if you are enjoying yourself, perform as well as you can and then stand, smile and bow to the audience as their applause tells you that they have enjoyed listening to you.
The information in this Syllabus is correct at the time of going to press but changes may be unavoidable. The PMF reserves the right to make any changes necessary in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The Portsmouth Music Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or persons without giving a reason.
